Menards Gate Guards
Posted 10/19/2007: We have immediate openings for full-time and part-time gate guards to work gate guard security at select Indianapolis area Menards home improvement stores. These are regular year-round unarmed security positions. Must be able to work any day of week, including Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays. Must be able to work any time of day on any 4 to 8 hour shift as needed during store hours. Store hours are 5:15 AM to 10:30 PM. The gate guard greets customers at the entrance of the lumber yard, uses a computerized hand held scanner to check the customer in, and checks the customer out of the lumber yard verifying the product purchased. Pay rate at between $9.25 and $10 per hour depending upon store location and your experience. Positions are curretnly open at the Avon Store, the Indy-East Store, the Indy-West Store and the Carmel Store. No experience is necessary as we provide complete training. To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, have a verifiable/favorable past employment record, have a HS diploma or GED, enjoy working with people in a team environment, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.
